Two new shows hit the airwaves with my sound wavs

Two shows have recently begun airing nationwide and online featuring my sound work and I'm excited to finally announce them!  The first was Viceland's "Payday: Memphis" following up and coming artist Blac Youngsta.  We worked with him on one snowy night back at the beginning of the year and it was pretty much my first official sound gig and gave me the opportunity to work with Vice.

Secondly is the MTV show "True Life: I Was Shot".  We followed a young man around for two days after being shot five times in an attempted robbery.  Both shoots were challenging and eye-opening.  I certainly look forward to more opportunities like them in the future.

Calia by Carrie Underwood surprising customers at Dick's Sporting Goods in Cool Springs, TN

This was a video I was excited to be a part of and it turned out to be a really fun day. Carrie Underwood showed off her new Calia exercise clothing line and had the chance to surprise a few unsuspecting fans at the same time.

Summer Weddings

Sharing some photos from a few of this summer's weddings.  I've honestly never seen three couples that love each other as much as Lynea & Jesse, Sage & Beth and Kevin & Betty.  !Y que viva el amor!

My daughter Maya was diagnosed on 1/21/15 with a rare disease known as Biliary Atresia. She has the rare form of Biliary Atresia therefore she also has a VSD hole in her heart and Heterotaxy Syndrome, a duodenal web, and malrotation of her intestines. On January 23rd she had a procedure known as a Kasai to attach her liver to her small intestine, she also had her gallbladder and appendix removed and the malrotation of her intestins corrected. Unfortunately the procedure failed and two back to back episodes of Cholangitis made her an immediate candidate for a liver transplant. She has unfortunately been very sick with pneumonia and a collapsed lung and several other issues making her to sick to be on the transplant list. However she is starting to slowly get past the pneumonia and may be be back on the transplant list next week. We are blessed that her insurance will cover medical expenses, however, the situation has evolved so that I am raising her as a single mom and have been unable to work throughout this. I am trying to raise funds to cover unexpected expenses and to assist with our living expenses post transplant. I appreciate all the help we have received so far and I am incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and prayers.

Once while strolling through Asheville, NC, a dazed young guy stopped in front  of my wife and I and said "Dandelions are the fairest of all flowers" - then he went back on his way down the sidewalk. Obviously, we were a bit alarmed for this guys sanity and sobriety, but laughed it off. Chalk that one up to Asheville - which is full of dreamers and wanderers. Bless 'em all.

This shot was taken with a Canon 5D mkIII, Canon FD 50mm Macro lens with life-size adapter. f/8 1/30 of a second and ISO 1600. I'm pretty much right on top of this thing as I was snapping away.

Stop and take notice of the little things that make up this world around us.  You'll never know what will enchant you.
